Is Obama a Real Internationalist or Will He Put America First?

The UN Climate Change Conference in Poznan, Poland is set to begin this December. The main goal of the conference is to start negotiations for a new “climate change” agreement. With the Kyoto protocol set to expire in 2012 all of the “man made global warning” lunatics are working hard to get a new treaty signed before the current one expires.

In case you’re wondering, Bill Clinton signed the treaty, when it came up for a vote in the full Senate it was voted down 95-0. Besides for it being a job killer and hard on our economy, it let a bunch of heavy polluters like China and Russia off the hook, major double standard.

As a side bar to the conference the Guardian is reporting that:

Stephen Hockman QC is proposing a body similar to the International Court of Justice in
The Hague to be the supreme legal authority on issues regarding the environment.

The first role of the new body would be to enforce international agreements on
cutting greenhouse gas emissions set to be agreed next year.

But the court would also fine countries or companies that fail to protect endangered
species or degrade the natural environment and enforce the "right to a healthy environment.”

The USA is not a member of the International Court of Justice, for good reason I may add. There are those that seek to harm the USA and our interest, what’s to stop them from bringing fraudulent charges against us in front of this court? Apart from the fact that we should never submit ourselves to the whims of a bunch of international judges. We have our own judicial system, constitution and laws, thank you very much.

Now is a moment of truth for the Democratic Party and Obama in particular, Will you try to sign us up for any of these four agreements? These include Kyoto, International Court of Justice, the new Kyoto kind of agreement and if they get their wish an International Court of Justice for climate change etc.?

If Obama will sign such an agreement will the senate Democrats support it, knowing full well that most of the country doesn’t support any of these treaties and that they would do the US terrible damage, financially and military?

What will Obama and the Dems score on this set of tests?

P.S. the tide has begun to turn on this cult known as “man made global warming”.
